Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Recovery Community Center Coordinator to travel between 8 sites throughout CT. This individual will support our recovery initiatives within the community. This position plays a vital role in fostering a welcoming environment for individuals seeking recovery from substance use and mental health challenges.
Responsibilities
The ideal person will be enthusiastic, extremely well organized, and passionate about working closely with individuals in recovery.
A valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle are required.
Travel to recovery community centers on a rotating schedule based on need.
- Work closely with center staff and volunteers to support center activities and operations.
- Provide telephone recovery support calls as needed.
- Ability to provide additional support and resources to recoverees as needed.
- Support in tracking center visits, volunteer hours, meetings and events.
- Training and facilitation.
- Open and close recovery community center as needed.
- Able to answer telephone inquiries related to agency programs, services and functions.
- Two years experience in customer service or related field.
- Proven track record in outstanding customer service.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Exceptional computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, web-based platforms
- and database management.
- Strong customer service ethic.
- Time management skills.
