About the role
We’re hiring an Administrative Assistant for a Springfield-based business to support day-to-day office operations. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with steady hours and a team that values reliability, organization, and a can-do attitude.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing a few hats, handling general admin work, and has some exposure to basic bookkeeping tasks and sales support.
Responsibilities
- Answer and route phone calls professionally
- Data entry and keeping records accurate and organized
- Filing, scanning, and general document management
- Support basic bookkeeping tasks (invoicing, tracking, light reconciliation support, etc.)
- Assist with sales support tasks (customer follow-ups, quotes, order support, etc.)
- General office support as needed
Qualifications
- Prior administrative/office experience preferred
- Comfortable working on a computer and learning new systems
- Some familiarity with bookkeeping processes and/or sales support is a strong plus
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Education requirements are flexible: we’re open to experienced candidates without formal education or candidates with formal education who are newer to the field
