We are seeking a dedicated Production Support technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in factory environments, supporting assembly lines and equipment maintenance. Duties
- Assist in the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Support assembly line operations by providing mechanical support and ensuring that production runs smoothly without delays.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and forklift equipment to move materials, perform repairs, and facilitate assembly tasks.
- Maintains the highest quality standards and the right to stop production of any job if those quality standards are not met
- Assists in any and all areas within the company on an “as needed” basis
- Acts as a general resource for a variety of different departments
Experience
- Prior factory experience or background working within a manufacturing facility is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Familiarity with assembly line operations and manufacturing workflows.
- Communicates effectively both in writing and verbally
- Has basic blueprint comprehension
- Ability to flex from task to task
