Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee 300 apartment units over 2 properties within the Waterbury area. This is a hands on position, not a desk job!

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor staff of 4 techs.
  • 2 properties/300 units
  • Schedule tasks, repairs and improvements
  • Work in a professional manner to handle tenant maintenance requests.
  • Work with contractors
  • Reports to regional supervisor
  • Rotating on-call
  • Hours 8am-430pm, M-F

Job Requirements

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of facilities management principles and practices.
  • Skilled in electrical, plumbing HVAC repairs and trouble shooting.
  • Skilled in carpentry, drywall, painting, cabinetry
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency and safety.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing maintenance tasks.
