We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Leasing Agent/Floating to join our property management team. This role involves managing leasing activities across multiple properties, providing exceptional service to prospective and current residents, supporting administrative functions related to property leasing and occupancy. Responsibilities
- Assist prospective tenants through the leasing process, including conducting property tours, explaining lease terms, and upselling available units.
- Maintain accurate data entry within property management software such as Yardi or OneSite; update tenant records and lease files systematically.
- Support legal administrative processes including preparing contracts, reviewing lease agreements, and handling legal documentation related to landlord-tenant law.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to facilitate property upkeep and address resident requests promptly.
- Handle conflict management situations professionally, resolving disputes efficiently while maintaining positive resident relations.
- Assist with office administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records for property management operations.
- Engage in customer service activities by responding to inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support facilities management efforts by tracking property maintenance schedules and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Contribute to sales efforts by promoting available units, upselling features, and fostering positive relationships with prospective tenants.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles.
- Familiarity with Yardi, OneSite, or similar property management software; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with excellent phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling, and contract management within a real estate context.
- Office experience including data entry, filing systems, and general administrative tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills combined with professional demeanor; ability to work collaboratively across teams.
