Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. This role requires a proactive leader with extensive knowledge of employment law, HRIS systems, and best practices in human capital management. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate closely with senior leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals and ensure the effective administration of HR programs across the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies that support organizational growth and employee engagement.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts by designing effective sourcing strategies, managing applicant tracking systems (ATS), and conducting interviews to attract top talent.
- Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration into the company culture.
- Manage performance management processes, including employee evaluations, goal setting, and feedback sessions.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, workers' compensation, and leave policies such as FMLA.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations such as OSHA, labor law statutes, and OSHA standards.
- Handle employee relations issues by mediating conflicts, conducting investigations, and implementing resolution strategies.
- Maintain accurate HR data using systems like Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro; analyze data for strategic decision-making.
- Oversee payroll processing through platforms such as ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, or Dayforce to ensure timely and accurate compensation.
- Manage HR sourcing initiatives to identify talent gaps and develop succession planning strategies.
- Lead organizational design efforts to optimize structure and workflows for efficiency.
- Coordinate training & development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Administer workers' compensation claims and manage safety compliance initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits of HR processes for continuous improvement using process improvement methodologies.
- Support change management initiatives by communicating effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Prepare reports on HR metrics for senior leadership using data collection and analysis skills.
- Manage HR budgets related to staffing, training programs, benefits administration, and other HR functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in human resources management with supervisory responsibilities in diverse organizational settings.
- Extensive knowledge of employment & labor law, OSHA standards, FMLA regulations, and workers' compensation procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise in talent acquisition strategies utilizing ATS platforms.
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, UltiPro, ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian Dayforce.
- Proficiency in payroll administration through platforms like Paychex or Paylocity.
- Experience in organizational design, succession planning, performance management systems, and employee evaluation processes.
- Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective communication skills for engaging with senior leadership and employees alike.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Data analysis skills for interpreting HR metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Familiarity with contracts management related to employment agreements and vendor relationships.
- Strong presentation skills for delivering training sessions or strategic updates to stakeholders.
