About the Role
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technical Service Representative to join our Westfield-based team in a primarily office-based role. This position is ideal for experienced HVAC technicians who want to move away from fieldwork and focus on providing technical support, troubleshooting, and system guidance for commercial and institutional HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide phone, email, and remote support to contractors, field technicians, and customers.
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems, focusing on controls and electrical issues.
- Assist in system configuration, optimization, and problem resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering to maintain and update technical manuals and installation guides.
- Occasionally provide technical training to customers or field staff.
- Document all support cases accurately in the ticketing system.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in HVAC or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with commercial, light commercial, or industrial HVAC systems.
- Familiarity with controls and communication protocols (BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, N2) is a plus.
- Experience with relay logic, analog signals (0–10V, 4–20mA), and control troubleshooting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Customer-focused mindset, able to guide technicians and contractors remotely.
- Willingness to travel occasionally on short notice.
