Electronics Assembler

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build, diagnose, and repair compact electronic systems used in embedded applications
  • Hand-solder both traditional and miniature components, following industry-recognized quality standards
  • Evaluate solder work for adherence to quality benchmarks
  • Operate machinery and tools used in the assembly and testing of electronic boards
  • Identify and correct assembly defects through visual checks and rework processes
  • Install software or firmware onto programmable hardware
  • Perform functional testing on partial and complete electronic assemblies
  • Keep the workspace clean, orderly, and compliant with safety guidelines
  • Take on additional tasks as needed to support production goals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing
  • IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-7711/7721 certification (current or past) highly preferred
  • Skilled in microscope soldering of fine-pitch surface mount components
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Proficient with Windows-based PCs and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
