We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines in a precision manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working to tight tolerances, reading blueprints, and performing basic inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machinery according to job specifications
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits as needed
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety procedures and company quality standards
- Report any machine malfunctions or production issues to the supervisor
Requirements:
- 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with G-code and basic program edits
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Haas, Okuma, Mazak, or Fanuc-controlled machines
- Manual machining experience is a bonus
- Ability to lift 40+ lbs and stand for extended periods
