Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Abrasive Blaster to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a factory setting and possess mechanical knowledge. The Blaster will prepare aerospace (or other) components for a variety of electroplating or painting operations by using abrasive sandblasting equipment to clean, remove corrosion and other contaminants from various customer parts

Essential Functions:

• Daily processing of parts includes but is not limited to: General inspection and counting of parts or Masking and De-masking parts to confine the abrasive to a specific area.
• Special attention given to Work Order directions and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Notes any discrepancies before or after masking to the team leader.
• Ability to follow the work order and SOP to yield quality approved blasting for quality approved processing of parts. Work is subject to inspection.
• Ability to properly complete all processing documentation.
