Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented AR/AP Associate to support a busy office in West Springfield. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent long-term benefits for the right candidate. While hands-on training will be provided, candidates should bring a strong sense of professionalism, reliability, and foundational accounting skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and route incoming invoices for approval
- Issue payments, handle monthly distributions, and pay quarterly taxes
- Enter ACH transactions and maintain updated W-9 forms
- Use Positive Pay software to help prevent check fraud
- Bill tenants, process payments, manage direct deposit info
- Prepare monthly delinquency reports and follow up on late rent
- Answer 5–6 incoming calls/day and direct appropriately
Qualifications:
- AP/AR or general accounting experience preferred
- Professional demeanor and reliable communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Basic Excel and accounting software experience helpful
Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
