Job Summary

Primary duties of the Special Process Operator include cleaning, preparing and masking aerospace components to work instructions, and completion of required documentation.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare and mask various sized parts and surfaces for the aerospace industry.

• Perform inspections per the mil-spec & customer requirements.

• Apply protective coatings to items such as equipment and miscellaneous metalwork.

• Clean-up, storage, and disposal of mask products.

• Operate various tools and equipment.

• Assist with the assembly of parts, flushing, deburring, and support any departments as needed to maintain productivity across the plant.

• Assist with the development of new processes to improve existing methods.

• HS diploma or general education degree (GED).

• Related factory experience preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Must have good command of the English language, both written and verbal.

• Possess good mechanical aptitude and skill with assembly of mechanical components.
