Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and customer service.
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Respond to inquiries from current and potential tenants in a timely and professional manner.
- Process rental applications, conduct background checks, and verify income and rental history.
- Prepare lease agreements and ensure all required documents are properly executed.
- Collect rent payments and enforce lease terms.
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs.
- Address tenant concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, lease agreements, and property maintenance.
Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for tenants.
- Knowledge of property leasing processes, including marketing strategies, applicant screening, and lease negotiations.
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as OneSite, to manage tenant information and track leasing activities.
- Familiarity with Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program requirements is a plus.
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to tenants to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Proficient in conflict management techniques to handle tenant disputes or difficult situations.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate files and documentation.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices to ensure the property is well-maintained and in compliance with regulations.
