  • Answer incoming telephone calls and emails and help manage sales leads
  • Assist customers via telephone and email communication
  • Complete assignment and reformatting of all new sales tasks in a timely manner
  • Maintaining department records, including spreadsheets and databases that track suppliers, sales and customers
  • Creating and maintaining sales contracts and agreements
  • Setting appointments with prospects and clients
  • Research that supports the team, such as performing Internet searches for potential clients and gathering information that could be useful to the sales team when pitching a product or service
  • Liaise with secretaries and administrative assistants from other departments
  • Other administrative tasks


  • One year of sales support experience, ideally in the manufacturing or construction industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft desktop products
  • Ability to partner with sales people to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations
  • Time management skills
  • Multi-task orientation
