Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Printing Press Operator to join their team. As a Printing Press Operator, you will play a vital role in the production process, responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing machinery to ensure the efficient and high-quality production of printed materials.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain printing press machinery, including flexographic presses.

• Set up printing presses according to job specifications, including adjusting settings, ink distribution, and pressure to achieve the desired print quality.

• Monitor and inspect printed products for quality, adjusting as necessary to maintain high standards of production.

• Ensure print design conforms to job jacket information.

• Complete product reports and Quality Assurance sheets for each job.

• Notify Supervisor/Lead Person or Quality Assurance Technician of non-conformities.

• Responsible for proper packaging and labeling of work in-process and/or finished product.

• Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn parts to ensure optimal performance.

• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Proven experience as a Printing Press Operator or similar role in a printing environment.

• Knowledge of printing press operations, including setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

• Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.

• Strong mechanical aptitude

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
