Job Summary:

As a Press Brake Operator, you will play a crucial role in our client's manufacturing process. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining our CNC press brake machines to bend, shape, and form a variety of sheet metal and other materials according to precise specifications. Your attention to detail and precision will be essential to ensure the production of high-quality components.

Essential Functions:

  • Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery to bend and shape materials according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
  • Load and unload materials onto the press brake machine, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
  • Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job, adjusting settings as necessary for precision bending.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards, making adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform routine maintenance on press brake machinery, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records of job orders, material usage, and production quantities.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role.
  • Knowledge of press brake machinery including Accupress, Premiere, and Amada machines.
  • Knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers, squares, protractors, and height gauges.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials as required.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Safety-conscious and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Monday-Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm
