Essential Functions of Manufacturing Manager:

• Lead, direct, manage and optimize all manufacturing labor (60-70 employees).

• Key manufacturing processes include Plastic Thermoforming, 5 Axis Machining, Assembly and Paint.   

• Establish systems to collect metrics, analyze productivity and set performance targets that will meet revenue and cost goals.

• Drive productivity through LEAN principles and continuous improvement across the business.

• Develop, lead and measure continuous improvement and enhance visual management systems in a structured ISO9001:2015 Quality system.

• Evaluate, motivate, and develop capability and capacity in the hourly workforce.

• Work closely with Quality on root cause investigation and countermeasure development.

• Minimum 5 years' manufacturing and machining experience.

• Significant supervision experience.

• Extensive experience, and deep knowledge of running, programming and troubleshooting CNC machine tools.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Strong interpersonal, written and communication skills.

• Ability to read and understand blueprints, models, programs and complex operations instructions.

• Proficient at metrology. GD&T experience a plus.

• Proficient in MS Office suite of products.
