Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team to ensure the efficient operation and upkeep of the facility and its machinery. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to ensuring the smooth functioning of all equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the efficient and proper functioning of machinery and mechanical equipment.

• Performs routine maintenance tasks on machinery, including lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and adjusting equipment for optimal performance.

• Diagnoses issues with machinery, troubleshoots malfunctions, and conducts repairs to minimize downtime and maintain productivity levels.

• Communicates routine maintenance schedule to production workers.

• Assists in installing and repositioning machinery as needed.

• Maintains contact with vendors to acquire necessary parts and tools for maintenance and complex repairs.

• Ensures all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Strong knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance procedures.

• Minimum of three years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.

• Proficient in using various hand and power tools.

• Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
