Essential Functions of Inventory Assistant

• Receive incoming shipments and inspect contents for accuracy and quality

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by performing regular cycle counts

• Prepare and organize material returns

• Manage proper stock rotation to minimize product waste

• Research inventory discrepancies, address them in a timely manner, and develop corrective actions to prevent further issues

• Assist with inventory audits to verify physical stock counts against recorded quantities

• Must be organized and task-oriented

• Must have strong attention to detail and excellent data entry skills

• Able work independently and stay on task

• Forklift experience preferred

• High School Diploma

• Position requires walking, sitting, and lifting (Up to 50)

• Able to stand for long periods of time throughout the day

• Able to climb a step ladder to view or count material

• Able to work in a variety of environments (indoors, outdoors, warehouse, and office)
