POSITION SUMMARY

To accurately and quickly prepare and scan policy and policy related materials into the optical system and all other company records that require imaging.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.

Open Policy mail arriving daily via USPO, Overnight, deliveries and email.

2.

Prepare Policies for scanning; resolve missing or inaccurate information.

3.

Scan Policies as well as Additions, Pending, Correspondence, Search Files, Commercial Transactions, Assumed Risks, Claim Files and other categories as applicable.

4.

Compile Policy Premium remittances and submit to Finance department.

5.

Compile Invoice and remittances and submit to Finance department.

6.

Cross-train on all aspects of entering Policies from scan work queue.

7.

Cross-train on balancing daily registers.

8.

Answer telephone inquiries from staff, agent representatives, or agents.

9.

Retrieve and re-file folders from Records Room for staff.

10.

Train new staff as needed.

11.

Recommend system and process enhancement.

12.

Backup other areas of the department as needed.

13.

Compliance and adherence at all times with the organization’s Code of Ethics and Conduct as well as all company policies.

14.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION/TRAINING/OTHER RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

1.

High school diploma or GED required.

2.

Strong computer skills.

3.

3-5 years’ experience in Excel, Outlook and Word.

4.

Data entry experience preferred.
