Summary

In search of an experienced machinist for our busy manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce high-quality components.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine machining operations.
• Assemble machined parts as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections using CMM, calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to maintain accuracy.
• Collaborate with team members to implement Lean manufacturing principles for process improvement.
• Maintain tooling and equipment in optimal condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Experience

CNC Setup & Operator to produce complex and close-tolerance aerospace parts.

Possess a strong working knowledge of aerospace materials, machining techniques, and tooling, and should be able to set up jobs with little or no direct supervision.

Must be capable of and willing to run multiple machines simultaneously and have an excellent knowledge of reading and understanding blueprints and operation drawings.
