Job Summary:

The CNC Machinist is responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to manufacture precision, tight tolerance aerospace components and parts. 

Essential Functions:

• Operate CNC and other manufacturing machines to produce machined parts.

• Keep accurate records and maintain equipment and supplies.

• Plan production by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters.

• Measure dimensions of the finished product to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments, templates, and fixtures.

• High School diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of CNC operation experience or completion of machining certificate.

• Setup experience is preferred.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical computations and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

• GD&T knowledge.

• Ability to use measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, depth gauges, and size blocks.

• Detailed-oriented with a strong commitment to quality.

• Excellent communication skills.
