Job Description

  • Create, review and revise letters, spreadsheets, charts and other documents
  • Complete court, agency, and other forms
  • Translate documents and serve as an interpreter for clients in the office, the court, and other advocacy forums
  • File, copy, fax, including file court documents electronically
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email
  • Serve as receptionist: greet visitors, answer the telephone, direct messages appropriately
  • Communicate relevant and accurate information to applicants, clients, and opposing counsel
  • Calendar management and data entry
  • Conduct preliminary interviews with clients and applicants
  • Pick up and deliver documents and other items
  • Perform additional functions and other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Produces work in an accurate, timely, and professional manner
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to prioritize competing priorities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and focused
  • Adept at effectively using technology available, including phone, email, fax, IM 
  • Strong competency in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Prior legal office working experience preferred
  • High school degree required, some college course work preferred

  • Monday-Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm
